Rare Library of Congress photos from the Great Depression, for those times that you forget history wasn’t really in black and white.

There’s a fascinating surrealism to pictures like this because we’re so used to seeing this kinds of environments either in black and white or when they’re in color it’s always staged.

It’s trippy.
