Liveblogging Election Day
Anyone who reads this blog is well aware of how important tomorrow is. Though I have a day job, I suspect I’ll spend most of the day and night looking at election coverage and the growing clusterfuck that is mismanaged polling places. I’ll update the post or add comments as much as I can with links and news I come across, and I hope you’ll all join in the comments, too. Let us know you voted, what the experiences was like, any local or national news on the election. Hopefully, at the end of the day, we’ll be able to celebrate an Obama victory and go to sleep knowing that, in a few short months, our long national nightmare will be over.

I meant to say, “Which nightmare?” There are so many train wrecks happening in slow motion.
A friend of mine who has a Big Job in D.C., and naturally then, lives in Maryland hasn’t voted yet because despite where he lives being so solid blue (if it were any more blue, he says, we’d be the Air Force), the lines are so long to vote he decided to go to work instead, and leave early to vote.
I’ve heard reports via my local public radio station reporters that there have been occasional attorney interventions where poll workers insisted on seeing i.d. ONLY of Dem voters. One of these workers got up and ran away from the polling place when an attorney showed up, which, doubtless will create yet more voting chaos for that precinct and district.
