1) Happy Birthday. Sorry it sounds like I’m going to miss meeting you in NYC this weekend.

2) Re: the other post that didn’t go through -
I wasn’t sure whether or not it went through because it had a lot of links. On some blogs, the post just goes off into the stratosphere when that happens. On others, it just takes more time to show up. I didn’t think it was stuck in moderation (basically, my experience with that *smirk* is that there’s a little italicized written warning attached to your post after you submit when that happens).

Long story short, it was a request for Ico, Red, and outfox to write posts for the Allies Carnival on intrafeminist relations, if you will, given the Prom Princess Marcotte/infringement allegation dustup and its Queen Jessica/exclusionary FFF cover background material, and it had about 12 links for BG on the issues.

But I posted several of those links in other replies on the thread, went to outfox’s blog and found she doesn’t sound that sure about blogging on that particular issue (in another context) and Ico has already written a nice post.

So I’ll get back to my boulder-pushing, which feels a little less Sisiphyean today, thanks to you and the colorosphere.
