State of the ABW
Thanks to everyone who offered support and condolences about my stolen backpack. I have some good news to report on that front. I got a call on Monday from the guy who had my bag! He returned it to me, all items intact. Phone, camera, everything. I was so floored, I didn’t even get the guy’s name! But I’m going to attempt to find him soon.
My drama had a happy ending after all. All the good thoughts helped!
This is great because I am leaving for WisCon (the feminist science fiction convention) on Thursday morning. Having to deal with con madness without a cell phone would have been hell.
I’ll be away until Tuesday, but not away from the Internet. Posts will continue to appear and I’ll answer some comments. However, I won’t be around much (I’ll have no time…) so if I don’t answer you right away, don’t worry.
If any of my faithful readers are also coming to WisCon, let me know! I would love to meet those of you I haven’t met yet.

Please bring someone with you too–not to be cynical but it is a cold hard world and I don’t want to assume he could do you bodily harm and be luring you into a trap–but for me–bring a friend with you when you meet him.
